LNG/L-CNG – The “Bypass Vaporiser“

The “bypass vaporiser“ ensures a proper temperature behind the high-pressure vaporiser. Should it happen that the CNG is being discharged too warm via the output of the high-pressure vaporiser, cooler CNG is being added by means of the cold bypass vaporiser. In this way the CNG, which afterwards reaches the CNG storage via the safety panel, cools down. Thus, more CNG with the same volume can be stored in the CNG storage.
